What My Twin Toddlers Eat In A Day

We started BLW (Baby Led Weaning) around 6 months old and ever since then our twins have been ” eating us out of house and home. “😆 After I stopped breastfeeding at 12 months, and solid foods became their main source of nutrition, I felt like I couldn’t keep up with them.(They LOVE to eat!!) I go to the store a few times each week, and within a few days it vanishes 😅😅 I would love to know if your toddlers feeding schedule is similar to Harlow and Myles’!

Eating Schedule :

7:30 a.m. Breakfast:

(2) Scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, and diced ham. 1 handful each of blueberries, 1 blueberry waffle each. They split one yogurt.

We switch breakfast around a couple of times during the week. (Blueberries, and Yogurt always stay the same) We substitute in French toast, peanut butter toast, pop-tarts, dry cereal, and toaster strudels for dessert.

9:30 a.m. Snack (sometimes)

They will share one banana, or crackers

10:50 a.m. Lunch:

1 handful of fruit (usually strawberries)

1/4 can of canned tomatoes, 1/2 steamed zucchini, or sweet potato fries

Split one slice of bread & butter, or peanut butter sandwich

Rotate Entrees : Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese & Turkey dogs, Chicken, Ranch Pasta, Garlic Cheese Pizza, Broccoli Rice Casserole, Million Dollar Spaghetti, Broccoli Cheese Rice

2:30 p.m. Snack :

Crackers, or 1 little bagged snack

4:30 p.m. Snack :

I fill both of their Munchie Mug containers on our walk, and its usually empty when we are done! They split one Plum Organics Pouch, 1 graham cracker each, and they split 1 NutriGrain bar

6:00 p.m. Dinner :

A few spoonfuls each of tomatoes

1 handful of fruit (messier fruits like watermelon)

A few spoonfuls each of cottage cheese or I give Harlow 1 cheese stick

1 container of applesauce, a few times/ week

Rotate Entrees ( I don’t usually give them what they had for lunch, if there are leftovers. I feel like they are less picky that way) : Million Dollar Spaghetti, Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Pizza, Lasagna, and lunch entrees that they didn’t have that day.

Liquids: Their milk cups are out from the time they wake up until around 9 a.m. , and then I put them back in the fridge. Then they get them right after lunch, while I get them ready for a nap. They will get them again when they are getting ready for bed. If they’re grumpy in the afternoon, or ask for their milk then I will give it to them whenever they ask. I leave their water bottles on the floor for them throughout the entire day.

Some days I wonder what other parents feed their kids. Like if mine eat a lot, or if they eat like normal for their age. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I would love to hear your feedback in the comments.😃⬇︎
